Financial stress is one of the leading causes of academic struggle. Students worried about tuition or rent often work excessive hours, leaving less time for study and increasing the risk of burnout.

While designed with York University students in mind, especially those looking for Work/Study positions, anyone interested in career alignment based on personality traits is welcome to use the tool.

Our algorithm uses cosine similarity to match your quiz results with specific job requirements. It is intended as a guide to help you explore jobs that align with your natural strengths.

Some postings may not appear in the search results since the job titles are generic and departments have slight variations in their postings, shortening titles to one main keyword can be helpful if job postings can not be located.

  • Example: "Client Services Representative" may not appear when searching the full title, but searching "Client" or "Representative" will show the postings.

  • Example: "Bilingual Department Support Assistant" may not appear when searching the full title, but searching "Bilingual" or "Support Assistant" will show the postings.

Alternatively, you can use google to search for the exact job titles.
